I just finished reading this fantastic novel by Jacinto Rey, the writer that I just discovered. The action elapses in two lines that mix each other, separated in time and that finally join together in a natural way. The inspector Molen is a precisely defined character, the type of woman any man would like to meet. Jacinto get good narrative rhythm. The prose keeps your attention about what is about to happen. And what happens does not disappoint you. The fact that one part of the novel is located in Cairo has an special meaning to me, since I myself transited many of those scenarios, like Zamalek island, where I have stayed many nights (in its non-so famous hotel Zamalek). I recommend its lecture, that I find pleasant, light and cosmopolitan.
